Adoption Requirements
Before adopting a pet from KSCAT Rescue, please review our adoption requirements to ensure you're ready to provide a loving and responsible home.
our basic
adoption requirements are:
1. all cats in the household must be neutered. (if you would like help with neutering we may be able to help)
2. if the cat is going to an outdoor home it must be safe roads no busy roads
3. any other animals in household must be ok with cats.
4. must be willing to pay adoption fee and have home checks carried out.
5. must be prepared for any unexpected costs, vet bills ect as sometimes our pets can get sick and need us to get them the help/treatment they may need.
6. any children must be respectful of the animals space.
7. must have transport for vets incase ever needed.
8. kittens must be neutered at 6 months old.
9. you must be willing to commit to this pet for their duration of life not just a short term pet or gift.
10. if the cat you are wanting to adopt is on a special diet you must be willing to keep using this diet unless vets say its no longer necessary.
